What does a "normal" day look like when you're not on the road?
Working on tipsiti.com which means mostly time spend in front of the computer. I love exploring the city through finding little hidden gems that offer quick WiFi.
Is there a destination you know better than almost anyone else?
I'd say my top few, in order, are: Berlin, Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Carmel/Monterey/Pacific Grove, Dublin, and the central coast - Big Sur through to San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.
What's your secret weapon as an advisor?

What's your favorite hotel or resort in the world and why?
Too many to list - but here in Germany, if I had to pick one city and one nature hotel - the city one would maybe be the Hotel Telegraphenamt in Berlin, while the city one would be the Hotel Bareiss in the Black Forest. In my college town I'm a fan of the Granada Hotel though a few new ones have popped up that are on the to-try list.
Favorite long-weekend getaway?
Lake Tahoe - for any time of year. Ski 🎿 in the winter or boat 🚤 in the summer.
Favorite travel season and where do you love to go then?
Probably spring or fall along the Mediterranean once the crowds have started to disperse.
Which city always surprises people when you say you love it?
Kuala Lumpur. The food is incredible. One of my favorite cities I've been to and somehow still very underrated.
How do you balance client preferences with pushing them out of their comfort zone?
It's a question of asking what they want. I personally like being pushed, but totally understand that some people like to do their leisure travel just to relax.
What makes you say no to a project or client?
I don't really know the cruise or resort world very well, so if someone wants something having to do with those, I'm not the right fit.
