Pijja Palace operates out of a former foot clinic attached to a Silver Lake Comfort Inn, broadcasting games across multiple flat-screens while serving Indian-spiced pizza and pasta. Unlike a traditional dark wood pub, the room is bright and modern. The neutral tones and clean lines keep the visual focus entirely on the televisions and the food arriving at the tables.
Founder Avish Naran built the menu around the meals his Gujarati family cooked during his childhood – American and Italian staples adapted heavily with Indian ingredients and spices. The kitchen produces thin, crispy bar-style pizzas topped with green chutney or paneer, alongside bowls of Malai rigatoni tossed in a rich, creamy tomato masala sauce. Standard sports bar appetizers are reworked the same way, resulting in dosa-battered onion rings and chicken wings glazed in jaggery and tamarind.
The room gets loud quickly. Groups pack into the booths and tables to share large orders, and the noise level steadily rises as the dining room fills up and the games play out on the screens. Because the restaurant stays consistently busy, securing a table usually requires booking well in advance. If you arrive without a reservation, your best option is to hover near the bar and wait for a stool to open up. Once you sit down, you order a curated beer or a themed cocktail while plates of spiced wings and paneer pizza make their way through the crowded floor.
