Holbox serves coastal Mexican cuisine, specializing in seafood dishes such as ceviche, tacos, and tostadas. Menu highlights include live sea urchin and scallop ceviche, live spot prawn tiradito, and Baja fish tacos. With an open kitchen, and located within Mercado La Paloma, a slammed market hall near the USC campus, the energy's electric at this low-key hot spot. The eatery received a Michelin Guide California Bib Gourmand in 2019, 2021, and 2022, and has been listed in the Los Angeles Times Restaurant of the Year and LA Times 101 Best Restaurant list.
