Nisha Jha

Nisha Jha is a Mumbai-based Indian travel blogger, writer, and photographer. She co-founded Lemonicks.com, a couple travel blog, where she has spent over fifteen years documenting extensive journeys alongside her partner, Vasudevan R. Their work on the platform spans more than 45 countries, offering experiential stories that delve into local culture, lifestyle, and unusual attractions. Her content often includes detailed itineraries, blending practical guidance with personal narrative and a focus on immersive experiences. For Jha, travel is about collecting memories and embracing the journey as much as the destination. She views each trip as an evolving experience, where the process of discovery holds as much value as the arrival. A pioneer in the Indian travel blogging scene, she was the first Indian travel blogger invited for a familiarization trip by a country. Her contributions to travel media include her role as a "Tripper" on Fox Traveller and recognition by Yahoo Travel as a "Fab & Fearless Traveler" – a distinction unique among Indian bloggers of her era. Beyond her blog, Jha contributes to platforms like Hill Post, sharing insights into adventure and leadership. Her deep commitment to exploration and storytelling is evident in personal achievements, such as undertaking a solo train journey at age thirteen and completing the Everest Base Camp trek at over fifty years old.
